Lex on Tech members can submit questions that I answer right here on the site. Reader George asks:

I don’t think I was the person to say somewhere that I wished Apple would revive AirPort, but I know my Rebound cohosts have sometimes wished for it. Apple makes great hardware and could make a great mesh networking system, no doubt — but I’d rather the company focus on making stuff that only Apple can make well. I have issues with Eero, but it actually works beautifully in my house. If it ever breaks on me, I imagine I’d switch to Ubiquiti, because they seem cool.

In terms of old Apple hardware or software I wish were brought back, one answer that immediately springs to mind is HyperCard, though I suppose Vipercard is a good alternative. I never owned a Newton and wish I had one.

But my real answer is: I wish Apple still made printers. Printers are awful. All of them. The Personal LaserWriter LS was excellent. Yes, people still need to print sometimes. I hate Brother printers. I hate HP printers. I hate all printers.

I didn’t hate my Apple printers.
